Chloe coughed. "She might be deaf." She said quietly.

I walked to the bunker, looking inside. "Is anyone here alive?" I shouted.

"Here." Jacob still had Jasmine in his arms. He'd closed her eyes, but held her all night. "Daniel... I'm sorry... I tried everything.." He started shaking, crying before he could stop it. "She didn't make it."

"Harley?" He crouched down by me. -Can you hear me?- When I shook my head no, it suddenly clicked for him. -Stand up. I'll help get you somewhere safe-

I stepped over countless bodies. Faces I knew. Small children. I crouched by Jacob and Jas. "It's not your fault she didn't make it." I blinked back tears. I wrapped my arms around him, trying to calm him down. "The government has to be stopped."

"They took her from me." He muttered, not even thinking of how ironic all of this was. He helped keep me away from Daniel and now he got the person he loved taken away from him. "I couldn't save her." I muttered, rocking back and forth slightly. "I'm going to kill them. All of them."

I took Jaxon's hand, slowly getting to my feet. He had to help support both Chloe and me, slowly getting us both to one of the remaining buildings. "Chloe get me something to put on her arm." He looked over at her.

Chloe nodded, rummaging through whatever she could and finding an ace bandage and a cloth, bringing it back to Jaxon. "This is all there is."

"You go ahead. I'm with you. They took them both from me for 17 Years." I growled.

"That works." He kissed her cheek, holding for a second. The worse was still to come. They'd become soaked in radiation. Who knew what that caused. He wrapped it around my arm - that I hadn't even realized was bleeding - then helped me sit back on a table, looking me over. "I'll tell Daniel I moved you so he doesn't flip out. Just.. take it easy okay?" I nodded to that, watching his hand slip into Chloe's and lead her off.

Jacob stopped, his breath hung in his throat. "I know." He nearly whispered. "It should of never happened in the first place. I shouldn't of wondered off."

"You didn't start the government.. doing this to angels." I sighed, looking down. "I did."

"And you'll be the one to save us." He looked back down at Jasmine. He'd brushed most of the blood off her skin, just holding her against him even after she'd grown cold. "Can you save her now? Like you brought Harley and mom back?"

"No." I looked down, shaking my head.

"Please." He looked up at Daniel. He was shaking. "Please I'll give you anything. If you want me to die.. I'll do it.. just bring her back. I need her. And she didn't deserve this. I should .. I should of saved her. Please Daniel.. I'll do anything."

"I can't." I licked my lips. "I can't even heal. I lost it or something. It wears me out too much. I will eventually. I promise."

He nodded, just looking down at her. "Baby he's going to bring you back one day." He kissed her forehead. "Everything's going to be alright."

"I'm such a bad dad." I rubbed my face, shaking my head.

"No you're not." Jacob shook his head quickly. "Go help other people. They need you. Or ... go spend time with Harley. There's not much to do there."

I sighed, pulling myself up and finding Harley. -Babe.. Jazzy didn't make it.-

I just stared at him. I'd heard him fine, the information just didn't want to process. What did he mean - Jasmine didn't make it. Of course she would. She was strong. And.. dying wasn't an option. I choked once, starting to cry all over again.
