"I just got it dyed." Jazzy laghed.

"Why." I glared. "Tomorrow your going back and getting your hair back to normal." I growled.

"No." Jazzy looked at me, then walked over to Jacob. "Thanks." She smiled.

"Welcome." He wrapped his arms around her, kissing her neck gently.

"What the hell." I muttered. "Just go get it dyed back? We try not to draw attention to ourselves."

"You don't have to look at it." Jazzy shrugged, wrapping her arms around Jacob and letting him kiss her.

"Stop." I snapped. "Jacob don't touch her."

"I bet you Harley told you the same thing that night that you forced her." He titled his head to the side.

"I don't see your dad around so." I got up, lunging and grabbing Jazzy, yanking her out of his arms and throwing her to the ground. I grabbed his wing, trying to get him on the ground.

Jacob dodged the first attempt, sidestepping and landing Daniel on the ground. "On what." He struggled to hold Daniel in place. "Grounds do you have against me that you don't want me to be with Jas."

"I don't trust you. Your making her act up. Your never around and I know your up to something during the day." I growled.

"Hiding from you maybe?" He laughed. "I know if I stick around you'll get my ass beat." He shoved Daniel, climbing off him. "You don't like it because she trusts me more than you and Harley combined."

"You brainwashed her." I shook my head, getting up. "Jazzy, tomorrow your going back and getting your hair back to normal. That's final."

"You can't make me." Jazzy backed up.

"I can make you. And it wont be fun so I suggest you make this easy on yourself." I growled.

"Jas.." He got ready to say listen to him but stopped. "Do what you want. It's your body. Not his."

This time I didn't hesitate. I grabbed him, slamming him against the wall and kicking him in the back of the knees so he fell. "It's not your body either." I snapped, punching him.

Jacob put up his arms, trying to block his face. "No." He spat. "It's not."

I pushed him to the ground, shaking my head. "Don't talk to her." I growled. "Jazzy go to your room."

"I'm 16. You can't make me do anything." She shook her head.

"You don't want to make her watch you beat me senseless." Jacob looked up at her for a moment, before raising his knee and nailing Daniel where he knew it'd hurt. "Too bad I'm not entirely defenseless."

I doubled over, groaning for a second before getting myself together and just straight up throwing a bolt of lighting at Jacob.

He dodged it, just barely. "Jas." He grabbed her arm. "Leave, Please. I dont want you getting hurt." He didn't have time to wait for her answer. "She has fucking wolves under her control? You know that?" He dodged another bolt. "And I really think she'd come to defend me before you."

"Since Im kinda god I can control them too." I rolled my eyes, throwing another bolt.

"Dad stop." Jazzy snapped. "Mom make him stop. Please."

I shook my head, looking at Daniel, then Jacob. "Jacob be reasonable." I didn't really want to see him killed. "Daniel can and WILL kill you."

"Shut up!" He snapped. Dodging the last bolt and making a run for it, sprinting off into the woods.

"Jacob!" Jazzy watched him run off, looking down. She figured he would come back eventually but that could be days. And her parents were furious. She was alone.

-Make a run for it.- Jacob had halted for a moment. -If you start running they won't be able to catch you.-

"No." I wrapped my arms around Jazzy. "Not happening." I slammed the door shut, bringing her up to her room and locking her again. "Just like a three year old." I growled, walking back down.

"It.. I.. I don't like her being thrown in her room." I looked at him. "It isn't .. I just.." Find your words Harley. "It doesn't feel right to me."

"You go deal with her then. She halfway listens to you." I sat down on the couch. "Im done with her for today."

The morning brought a whole new set of challenges. My spine was by no means completely healed, but I could manage it. Harley had helped heal me a bit. I had grabbed a stick and written in the mud that I was gonna go look for survivors. And I used that stick to support me in walking as I did so.

Somebody came over, laying a blanket on me. I soon found it to be Jaxon, holding a beaten Chloe at his side. They both looked like they fared okay. "Harley.." His voice was shaky. "The bunker got hit directly. So far there's no known survivors."

I just stared at him, my expression blank. I still couldn't hear anything. It was odd.. being entirely deaf. Quiet.. Peaceful even.
