Not All Angels Have Wings

I glared at Drake, sending him a hell of a lot of nasty hallucinations. Millions of visions of things only he was scared of. -Get the HELL OFF MY GIRL DRAKE. You don't want to mess with me any more than you already are I PROMISE you that.-

Drake stopped, getting wobbly on his feet. They were working. Things popped up from his mind and it made him dizzy.

Out of nowhere there was a gunshot. Everybody ducked, except for me. I was the meat shield. One of Drake's men grabbed him. seeing my blood splattered back up on him and thinking he was shot. The fake blood I was wearing covered up the fact I'd taken the bullet. There was more shots than I could count right after, and I was grabbed and thrown in the truck of some car, slowly slipping into a sleeping state.

I clenched my teeth together, just standing, staring ahead for a solid few minutes. Glaring at the space where Drake and his men were standing not long before. Slowly my breathing got heavier, and I turned. Everyone was just.. standing. Doing nothing. I was about to bitch them out but my rights just turned to Jaxon. Just warming up by giving him the pleasure of being surrounded by clowns. Everyone in the room, suddenly a clown. Some extra ones popping up. Only I was still myself.

Jaxon screamed, backing away from everybody. Flat up running away. Gasping for air. He hated clowns more than anything. Creepy bastards with "fun" outfits.

When Drake got far enough away the hallucinations stopped. Slowly but they did. And they realized he wasn't the one that was shot. "She's no good dead." I heard one hiss, falling in and out of consciousness in the back. The car jerked to a stop and I slammed forward, hearing the hatch come open and I was grabbed, being hauled inside and placed under a light. Something swung back, my head finally falling to a a side and I passed out.

"Jaxon!" I sprinted after him, grabbing his shirt in my fist and slamming him into the building. "A little afraid of clowns?" I laughed.

"Y-yes." He choked. "Daniel I'm sorry." He didn't try to fight it. "I thought she'd be safe."

"You thought wrong!" I screamed, punching him. "Now she's gone! How the hell am I supposed to get her back?!" I yelled, kicking him in the crotch and while I was at it making more clowns pop up behind me. "Jaxon you fucking retard." I growled. "I trusted you."

"I know!" Jaxon screamed back. "Quit fucking kicking me and maybe we can get her back."

"I swear to god Jaxon." I growled. "If she's not back by tonight I'm A, setting more clowns to follow you everywhere you go and B, kicking your ass." I snapped. "Lets go." I pulled him off the wall, walking out back again.

"Do you still have the tracker?" Josh asked, really working hard on not setting Daniel off. "Kevin can drive and we can find her before sunup."

I tossed the tracker to Josh. "No I let Jaxon take that away too." I sneered.

"What's up." Jaxon stood up, watching Daniel. "You and her left in a hurry this morning."

"She had to get to work." I shrugged. "The plan failed, and now we are even more financially fucked." I sighed.

"Yeah I know." He rubbed his face. "Hows your shoulder?"

"Sore but it's not like I haven't been shot before." I sighed.

"True." He sighed. "Open the cabinet behind you. I found something." - more or less raided a bank account.

I turned, crouching down and opening the cabinet. Staring for a second, I guess trying to count but failing. "How much is it?"

"100 grand." He rubbed the back of his neck. "I'm officially broke after that. But that should replace your camero."

"I have a new Fisker you know that right?" I looked up at him.

"Yeah I do." He shrugged. "I thought the Camero was your baby. So you might want another one."

"It is but that engine was from a legit parts person and cost about as much as the car." I stood up. "Josh still needs a new car though. Give it to him maybe? Or just keep it."

"Or put it towards our hospital bills." Jaxon shrugged. "I mean I can't hand them that much cash. I'll start working it into our bank accounts though."

"Yeah." I nodded. Going to the living room and sitting down on the couch, sighing. "Drake still wants to kill us doesn't he?"

"You mostly." Kevin leaned back. "Wants harley for bait for you."

"well." Jaxon licked his lips. "She is unguarded. Alone.. hurt still. If he wanted her.."

"Are you telling me to go to IHOP and sit there all day to babysit her?" I looked up at him.
