Not All Angels Have Wings

I put the flash drive in my pocket, watching him drive off before going inside. "Harley?" I called. "All's good."

"Here." I emerged from the back, looking him over and the guys outside. "What did he want?"

"Me. Dead. As per usual." I laughed, taking her hand in mine and walking outside.

I followed him outside, trying not to let on I heard what all they said. I didn't remember any of it really. I remembered the car.. I remembered the table but that was about it.

We all piled in, then went home. I pulled up my laptop then pulled out the flashdrive from my pocket, looking at it. "I don't trust this."

"I wouldn't." Josh sat down next to use. I'd sat down next to him. Not trying to be noisy just as much as I wanted to be next to him. "That thing could ruin your computer."

"Turk!" I yelled. "Bring your laptop!" I shut mine, waiting for Turk. He showed up soon, his laptop in hand. "Thanks." I nodded, pulling it out and putting the flashdrive in.

Soon we were prompted to view files, and it turned out to be a slideshow. After a bit of debate we clicked that too, and the images were disturbing. To me. At least. Hell Daniel might have enjoyed them. They were pictures from when I was still living in my own apartment. The first was just me on the couch. Okay well not an attractive face but whatever. Then it was me changing, first just my bare back but then my bare front as well. The caption on one caught me. I stood up, just, leaving. Sick to my stomach more with each step.

"So he's been stalking her like. Since we met. No probably not even him. That perv. Well... cant say much there actually.. Sam." I shook my head.

Josh looked down, Jaxon too. Normally? Hell no they'd be all over pictures of a naked girl. But neither one of them cared to face another Daniel beating. They clicked on, slowly realizing they had been documented. Everytime one of them left? There was a picture of what car they took and the time. There was even a picture taken through Daniel's wind of the night we.. well. 

"okay didn't need that last one." Josh muttered quickly, flipping away. Pictures of all of their warehouses across the city.

"He has everything." Jaxon said slowly. "He knows everything we've done.."

"He can't know about the out of state stuff though." I shook my head. Sure enough, a few pictures more and there was our out of state warehouses. "What the hell?"

"I think you pissed him off." Jaxon sighed. "Harley? We're done you can come back."

"I'm gonna go lay down." I looked up at them for a second before walking upstairs, disappearing behind Daniel's door.

I got up, putting down Turk's computer and walking up to my room. "You gonna be okay?" Relative question.

Jaxon pulled the flashdrive out, watching Turk's computer just. Spazz. The screen flashed quickly and soon the whole thing blue screen then black out. "Sorry bro." Jaxon looked up at Turk.

"He.. how did he get those pictures." I was sitting on the bed, one of his jacket's around me. "Why would he even want those pictures."

"Always me." Turk groaned, rubbing his face.

"I can think of a million answers to both of those questions.. unfortunately." I sighed, sitting by her.

"Here." Jaxon grabbed his wallet, fishing out $1000 dollars in various bills. "That should cover it."

I laid down, sorta falling in his lap. I didn't even care at this point.

"You sure?" Turk took it, but looked at him.

"It's okay." I laid down somewhat, wrapping my arms around her.

"Love you." I turned into his chest, my arms folded in against his chest.

"Yep." He smiled. "Go crazy."

"Love you too." I kissed the top of her head, my hand resting on her back.

"Thanks." Turk smiled, deciding to go look tomorrow.

I stayed there for awhile, just trying to relax a bit. "Do you want me to find a new job? I still have to do my night school."

"Do you have night school tonight?" I looked at her. "I can drive you."

"Yeah." I kissed his chest. "I gotta be there at 6:30"

"We should get going. I can take you to dinner before? Nothing like.. special maybe. Just. Subway or something?" I laughed a little.

"Subway works." I smiled, leaning back to look up at him. "I could probably switch back to day school. I only switched to night school to have a job during the day. Even though it's the second half of senior year so I don't get what the point is. Unless." I trailed off, biting my lip. "I always wanted to go to prom."

"Is that your way of asking me to go to prom with you?" I laughed, kissing her cheek. "If it is, of course. When is it?"
