Not All Angels Have Wings

I climbed in after him, watching Josh and Jaxon soon file out. Quickly I realized there was a spacing problem. Josh in the back.. or Jaxon.. but there was only two seats back here. "Daniel scoot." I slid over, placing myself between his legs to give Jaxon room to climb in the back with us.

"Oh. Hey baby." I kissed her neck, moving my hips for a second then stopping, laughing.

"Josh you look depressed." Kevin laughed almost, pulling off the curb.

"Oh God not in the car." Jaxon groaned.

I leaned back against his chest, laughing. "It would be better in the bed baby."

"Okay moving on." Jaxon cut me off. "I have a plan I wanted to discuss. So.. as we know this was really.. really expensive. So I have a plan." He leaned back to look at the back seat. "Daniel before you just veto this listen. Please. We're gonna use Harley as bait to get Drake off his guard and rob him blind basically."

"Bait?" I knew what he meant, but I guess I was just asking like.. was he serious? I raised an eyebrow.

"Guys we forgot Turk at the hospital." Kevin announced.

"Well there's no room for him anyway. Kevin? Just swing back and pick him up on another trip after you drop us off." Jaxon shrugged. "And yes. Bait. Well guarded bait. Like that fucker at the back of the machine that everybody tries to get."

"What if Drake has some sort of back up with him too? And actually manages to take her?" I leaned back.

"Alright. So basically we'll tell Drake we have a peace offering. He'll walk in and find a bloody Harley tied up to a chair in that warehouse we have south of here. You know Chad? yeah I'll have him bring the fake blood so she actually isn't hurt. And they're be a tracker in her jacket or something. And we can always track her phone. Anyway. So he'll think he can turn and sell her but we'll walk in from behind and rob him blind. I know a chop shop I can bring his car to and then we'll take anything he's got on him."

"I said I'd do it already." I said quietly.

"She should be pretty safe out of all of this. Drake knows you like her and would love to use her for leverage against you."

I rubbed the back of my neck, sighing then looking at Harley. "You sure you agreed?" I asked quietly.

"Yeah." I pulled away enough to actually look at him. "The other option was you all trap more girls.. and I owe you all for taking me in anyway. And on top of that. I trust you. If you told me to jump off a bridge blindfolded I would."

I nodded, thinking for a minute. "Alright." I sighed. "We'll do it I guess."

So that was that.. really. We waited about a week for everybody to recover. Josh still wasn't perfect but it'd do. Whatever guy they said was here to make me look beat up had already left, and if I looked in the mirror it looked like I just got out of a boxing ring. Either way, I was in the car waiting for Daniel. He'd agreed to drive me there early. Too many cars there would look suspicious. And I think he wanted to drive his new baby.

My 'New Baby' was a matte black Fisker Karma. I could live with this. "You gotta act like Jaxon was the one who 'beat' you up or something okay?" I asked softly, starting to drive to the location.

I nodded, my eyes focused on the road. "You promise you wont be far?" I asked quietly. "I'm scared."

"Right outside shawty." I smiled. Kissing her cheek and pulling up at the warehouse soon enough. Parking and taking a deep breath, hoping this didn't go wrong.

I grabbed the rope, and a folding chair, dragging them inside and sitting down in the chair. "You tie it?" I was shaking too bad to really tie it. That and I figured he could tie it where I could possibly get out if need be.

I walked over behind her, kissing her cheek before wrapping the rope around her, semi loose but not at the same time. I threaded a piece around, putting it in her hand. "Pull that if you need to get out." I said softly.

I nodded, hating the fact I couldn't move if I wanted. The ropes dug into my flesh some places but I could breathe okay. The rest was worth it. "Love you."

"Love you too." I smiled softly, walking out and leaning on my car. Waiting for whoever was gonna show up at this shin dig.

Jaxon, Josh, Kevin, and Brandon all showed up not too much later, killing the lights and stepping out. "Here's her tracker." Jaxon handed Daniel a small device, showing a pinging white dot not too far from there location. "Where you let me actually put it in her skin it'll give us her heart rate and blood pressure too."

"Good thing I let you put it there then right?" I would have laughed, but just held the tracker tight in my hand. "Everything in there's set up?"

"Yep and yep." Jaxon smiled. "Now we wait."

And they did wait. Nearly an hour. Drake was late.. big fucking whoop. At 1 AM Drake pulled in, far from alone. But Daniel and them still outnumbered him.

"Sup beautiful." He mocked, stepping over to me and ripping my face to meet his. "Or that's what Daniel called you. Isn't it?"

"Hold. Me. Back." I growled under my breath, hearing what he was saying. Every. Damn. Word. I looked down at the tracker. Her heart rate was rising.

"Just another moment or two." Jaxon put his hand on Daniel's chest. "You'll get her killed if you go in there now."

"So you are here. Bloody." He rolled his eyes, slapping me once. Luckily the fake blood splattered, just like real blood. "Bruised. Scared? He hit your pret-pathetic face?"

"J-Jaxon." I whimpered, half acting, half not. I thought Daniel would be in here by now.

"Boss. It's a trap we gotta go." A man yelled at Drake.

"No. Stand your ground." He barked, and quickly I was ripped from my chair, the rope falling at my feet. "Daniel boy? You think I wouldn't see through this little charade?" He mocked, using me as a meat shield.

"Jaxon!" I snapped at a whisper, shaking my head. We had two of the smaller branches of our gang her too. "Everyone, inside. Now." I nodded towards the door. Grabbing my gun and making sure it was loaded up.

"oh shit." Jaxon mumbled to himself. This was on him. It was his idea. He ran inside, the others flanking him and Daniel. "Let her go Drake. You know she isn't why we're here."

"No?" He tipped my chin up, holding my eyes. "I think a blonde sells for more."

"Do you want to live or not?" Jaxon barked.

"We'll this will be a fun ride to hell." Drake laughed, biting down on my neck. His tongue thrashing back and forth on my skin. I screamed, my eyes pressing shut and my body jerking under him.
