Lipstick and Hand Grenades

"Party right? Then we go after the bastard?" Justin paced slightly, looking up at John and Marco. "I swear if that bastard doesn't have my money I'm going to k-"

"Justin. Relax. He's not stupid." John tried. "Let's just go they're waiting on us." He grabbed the keys to the Escalade, Justin taking shotgun and the rest of them piling in the back. "No shooting." He warned when he got out of the car. Parking just down the hill, away from everybody enough to hide any business. 

"Whatever." He raised an eyebrow, pulling up on his collar before walking up, forcing on a smile to greet everybody.

"Shit." Kelsey nearly knocked over a lamp as she slid out the front door, jumping into Carly's SUV. "Hey." She smiled. 

"Miss goody two shoes actually snuck out." Carly laughed and started the car up, driving to the party. 

Kelsey rolled her eyes, getting out of the car and walking inside next to Carly. They... partied for a while. Then Carly came up to Kelsey with a beer. 

"No Carly." Kelsey backed up. 

"Live a little Kels." Carly shoved it into her hands.  

"No. Carly. Stop." 

"God damnit Kelsey. It's one drink." Carly groaned. 

"Your the type of friend those stupid health videos tried teaching me to say no to. Too bad I don't listen to those." Kelsey laughed a little, putting the bottle to her lips and tipping it back, downing the whole thing. The liquid stung her throat a little. But she got sort of a.. buzz. And it felt great.

"Ay the pretty bitch holds her liquor." Justin laughed, holding his beer in one hand, mainly just watching. Where the hell was Parker and his money. 

"My god relax." John laughed, slapping him on the back. "Go have fun with the bitch then."

Justin shrugged, walking up to them both. "How ya ladies doin here tonight?" He smiled, looking at them both.

Carly rolled her eyes, pushing him back by a hand on his chest. "Back off Danger." She huffed. 

Danger? What the hell kinda name was that? Kelsey just watched, leaning against the wall. Carly seemed to have him under control.

"And who said I was talking to you?" Justin huffed, leaving them be. They weren't the only pretty girls here and if they wanted to play hard to get they could all they wanted. And they'd end up alone.

"Fuck off." Carley grabbed kelsey's arm, pulling her somewhere else. "Don't talk to him. He's bad."

"What?" Kelsey stared past Carly, not able to focus. "Jeesus Kelsey you get drunk easily." Carly laughed. 

They left the party. Kelsey walked home alone through the woods.

Justin walked out into the woods, alone. "Parker?" He yelled.

"What? And no I don't have your money." Parker shrugged. "A week. I swear."

"A week is a week too fucking late." Justin snapped, grabbing him by his neck and throwing him up against a tree. "Now where the hell is my money!"

"I don't have it!" He pleaded. Trying to breathe around his hand.

"Well too bad for you then." Justin pulled out his knife, stabbing Parker in the chest several times. He dropped his body, watching it fall against a tree.

"What the hell?" Kelsey saw two guys. One stabbed the other. There was yelling. Then one dropped to the ground. She stood for a second, staring. Then she caught the eye of the killer, turning and sprinting away.

Shit. Justin ran after her, grabbing her and putting his hand over her mouth. "Do. Not. Scream." He warned, putting her in the very back of the car. "Alright guys we got a plus one."

"Did he have the money?" John stared at the girl in the back. Starting the car.

"Nope. He won't be an issue though." Justin shrugged, telling him to get going.

They got home not that much later. All of the guys leaving. Justin grabbed Kelsey out of the back, putting her in a spare bedroom. "What's your name."

Kelsey sat down by a wall, looking up at him. "Kelsey.." She said in a near whisper. She shouldn't be here. She shouldn't have drank. Agreed to sneak out. None of it was a good idea.

"You know I can't let you go with what you saw tonight." Justin tried to be softer. He could tell she was scared to death and she really didn't have anything to do with this. "I'm sorry we thought everybody was gone."

"Why? I won't tell anybody. I promise. I keep my promises." Kelsey scooted into the corner, doing her best to keep from showing him she was shaking.

"We can't risk that though. Please I won't kill you." Justin tried. But kept his distance. "How much did you drink anyway?" He kind of laughed. "I only saw one but it looks like you drank the whole keg."

"One." Kelsey looked up from her feet. She honestly couldn't help but think he was sexy. He was tan. He had tattoos running up half of one of his arms and some other scattered places. He had almost warm and welcoming chocolate brown eyes. Brown hair with some blonde highlights. Dimples when he smiled. Perfect white teeth. Tall- Stop it Kelsey. "Carly told me to stay away from you."

"Well that might be an issue." Justin laughed again. "I don't even know what to do with you. I can't keep you here forever. But I can't let you go." He sat down on the wall, not near her but not far either. "I mean you could always just agree to stay here. That'd be a lot easier."

"What is that supposed to mean? I don't even know your name. All I hear is Danger." Kelsey turned her head to look at him.

"Well Danger is just fine." He snapped. Standing back up. "Starve in here for all I care. You don't need my name." He slammed the door behind him, throwing the deadbolt to lock it.

Kelsey nearly jumped out of her skin. What the hell? He was nice 2 seconds ago. Bipolar. For sure. She curled farther into the corner, laying down and sighing. She didn't even understand. But she did know she was shaking at this point.

Justin rubbed his face. Well if you didn't scare her before you sure as hell did now. He stood out there for a few minutes before going back into the room, sitting down right next to her. "It's Justin by the way." He gently rubbed her arm, wishing she'd stop shaking.

Kelsey froze, feeling his touch. She uncovered her face, looking up at him. A tear went down her cheek. She was the good girl. This wasn't supposed to happen. Sitting up a bit, she looked from her hand, up to his eyes. "Justin?"

He nodded, smiling at her. "Yeah." He laughed again, trying to make her feel better. "We can go buy you clothes tomorrow if you want. It's really late though and you should sleep."

"You wouldn't mind bringing me home just so I can pick up what I want would you? Nobody's home during the day." Kelsey looked at him still, nodding about the sleep part. It was easily 3 am.

"Yeah. You can tell me where tomorrow." He got up, stopping in the door. "I'm sorry about all of this." He closed it and locked it again behind him, going to his room and collapsing into his bed.

The lock of the bolt brought Kelsey back to reality. She was tired. Too tired to barely move. She just laid down where she was, closing her eyes and falling asleep.

Justin sat, sighing and rubbing his face. It was about 10 AM and everybody was up.

"What the hell were you thinking!" John snapped. "You can't keep her prisoner here. If the fucking cops come they'll think she's a sex slave or something like that."

"What the fuck did you want me to do! Let her run straight to the cops?" Justin snapped. "She asked me to let her get her stuff and she's scared shitless up there so if you don't mind." He kinda pushed the others out of his way, going to Kelsey's room. "I'll let you get your things if you want."
