Don't Be Afraid of the Dark

"Drake's guards or... the fact I can turn into a bird?" Hunter looked at her. "Drake is an asshole. And it's in my blood."

"The bird." Rhaely smiled. "It's kinda sexy."

"Kinda? Woman. I'm sexy as hell." Hunter smirked, leaning over and kissing her.

"I wont disagree." Rhaely smirked back at him. "You.. have.. total.. control when you're the bird.. right?"

"I have total control when I'm everything. Name an animal." hunter stood up, smiling.

Rhaely sat, thinking. "Can you do a dragon? I don't even think those a real but I'd like to see it."

Hunter nodded, closing his eyes and thinking. Thinking. His body grew into that of a dragon the size of an elephant, and wings sprouted from his back, a long tail growing out.

"Okay now that's impressive." Rhaely laughed. "But the real Hunter is sexier."

Rhaely woke up, feeling herself being moved. There was a pool of blood where they were laying. But she ended up blacking out again.

Hunter woke up, the places he was cut scarred over. He rubbed the back of his neck, grunting as he sat up. His whole body was sore, but he was fine.

Rhaely woke up a few minutes later, rubbing the side of her face. She rolled over, looking at hunter. He was human again. "Hunter I'm so sorry. I don't know what happened.. are you okay?"

"I'm fine." Hunter kissed her cheek, shaking his head. "You okay?"

"Yeah.. I think." Rhaely looked him over. "I'm so sorry though. I thought I could handle it. I really did."

"Two more scars aren't gonna do me any damage." Hunter shrugged, putting on a shirt. "Really. It was only your second time shifting. It'll get better."

Rhaely had half way decided she wasn't shifting again. "Love you Hunter." She got up, kissing him. Today was great till you fucked it up.

"Love you too. Where are you going?" Hunter asked, also getting up. He didn't want her going out on her own and getting hurt or something.

"Nowhere." Rhaely laughed. "I was just getting up because you were."

"Oh. Well. I am kinda hungry." Hunter shrugged. He knew Rhaely wouldn't willingly let him go hunting.

"I can order pizza." Rhaely smirked, calling Pizza Hut and having a pizza delivered. She sat down on the couch with hers, watching whatever was on TV.

Hunter looked at it, kinda just sitting at the counter and staring. He went to make a move for it.. to eat it.. a few times, but he did not know how. He poked it, then just shrugged and shifted, standing on his hind legs with his paws on the counter, stuffing his face into it.

Rhaely turned around, hearing a scuffling noise. "Hunter? Baby that's not.. who cares." She sighed, leaning back. He'd said before he never ate human food.

Hunter turned to look at her, licking his lips clean. Then he got on all fours, walking to the couch and laying on it, resting his head in her lap, closing his eyes.

Rhaely brushed some of the hair on the top of his head, relaxing. She still felt bad about earlier. "You know we have a bed for sleeping." She said after a few minutes of silence. She was about to fall asleep right there.
